The Ergo at The White House on Christmas

On December 6^th, we traveled into town to watch the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the White House. It was a chilly night, but worth every tissue we needed to wipe our runny noses!! The way the ceremony works is, you have to be a ticket holder to get beyond the gate. Every year you enter your name into a drawing to get one of those tickets. We entered. We did not win. We watched from outside the gate. We got to hear & see everything & beat the crowds!

One of my favorite parts of the evening was listening to these two sing together. Two of my favorite singers: Colbie & Jason Mraz.

 And then the first family singing with everyone! It was so cool!

     Neil Patrick Harris Hosted along side the First Family. Stars like Rico Rodriguez, the Fray, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Phillip Phillips, James Taylor, Babyface and Ledisi were among them as well. 

As I was going to snap a photo of MJ and CJ, this was his reaction? WHY you ask? Well, turns out I was using my flash and he didn't want to bother the other people. And that also happened to be the second they were lighting the tree. {No Photos Please}!

Careena slept the entire time. Which is sad, because she would have loved to jump and sing along to the great music!

Hailee slept the entire time as well. It was just Mike and I awake & enjoying the music and vibe of the crowds!
