I really do have a passion for blogging. I find
myself blogging in my head all day. I get so busy raising these beautiful
daughters of mine that I don’t have time to sit down and write. I tend to feel
good when I think of a post I would write.
Honestly, I don’t know how some of these “mommy bloggers”
do it. I have a 2 year old and an infant who need and want my attention. Where
do you ladies find the time? Is it at night? When they nap? How do you keep up with
blog posts when you have a family and home to keep up with?
I find myself being a Wife, cleaning, cooking, and
doing house chores while the girl’s nap. Most of the time when they take their
afternoon nap, I take a shower! At night time, I don’t have time either. By the
time we lay Careena down and Hailee in her co sleeper we are both wiped out and
need some time to each other as a couple.
As far as weekends go, I am busy spending time
with my Husband and Children. We often venture out and are not home for me to
even think about writing. So I guess that’s my point. I’m okay with not
blogging for the most part. I like to update once in a while when I get a
chance, but other than that I don’t want it to be a burden to me and I will
never let it be that to please anyone.
So I ask you this my fellow bloggers, when do
you find time to blog? How do you keep a
healthy balance of blogging and caring for your family? I know some of you will say that blogging is
taking care of “you” because it’s a release. But the question is how do you do
it when you have kids playing on the floor in front of you and you are sitting
on a computer, wouldn’t you rather be sitting down there playing with them? (I
Would)!
Hugs Mama’s!

I blog during my lunch break during the week and at night. Some nights I am up way too late blogging but I really do love it. I love recording my kids lives since I suck at baby books these days. And I love the connection I make with other bloggers about photography, parenting and whatever else. If it's something I love I just find the time to do it. Also, sometimes I blog when the boys are awake and playing. They need some time to play with each other without me. It helps them become more independent...a very important skill in my opinion. If i am blogging and they need me I stop what I'm doing and focus on them. They always come first no matter what. But my blog is part of me. I love to write and share my photos of my kids. When I don't have "me" time then I find I am not 100% of the mom I want to be. There needs to be some sort of overall balance in everything.
